Another popular spot – The Intracoastal Waterway. The Great Bridge Lock separates the salt water of the Elizabeth River from the fresh water of the Albemarle and Chesapeake Canal. In addition to the boat ramp, the park boasts fishing and crabbing areas, picnic shelters, a playground and easy access to restrooms.
